(ESV)\n\n This week we have prayed that the Holy Spirit guide us so\n that we delight in God's law, living to serve Him by loving our\n neighbor.\n O God, because without You we are not able to please\n You, mercifully grant that Your Holy Spirit may in all\n things direct and rule our hearts.\n\n\n On the last visit Jesus made to the Temple before His\n crucifixion, He clearly summarized both the law and the Gospel.\n He taught that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.\n\n Did the Pharisees repent? Did they turn from their selfish\n desires and embrace the Word of God, recognizing the Son of God\n as their Redeemer from sin and death? Will you take these words\n to heart, or will you act like those who ultimately put Jesus to\n death for speaking the truth?\n\n ``And no one was able to answer him a word, nor from that\n day did anyone dare to ask him any more questions.''\n\n Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Today you\n have heard the good news that Jesus is the Son of God, sent by\n the Father to bear the price of your sin.
