Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n More Than We Can Imagine - Part 2\n Luke 7:13-15\n 09\/22\/2026\n\n\n 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on\n her and said to her, ``Do not weep.''\n 14 Then he came up and touched the bier, and the\n bearers stood still. And he said, ``Young man, I\n say to you, arise.''\n 15 And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and\n Jesus gave him to his mother. (ESV)\n\n Our prayer this week asks God to grant us His grace so that\n we may live according to His good will. The grace of God is His\n undeserved love, given to us because of His great compassion.\n God desires no one to perish eternally, but that each person\n comes to know Him. Good works flow from faith, and are a fruit\n of faith.\n O Lord, we pray that Your grace may always go before\n and follow after us, that we may continually be given\n to all good works.\n\n\n Why can we trust in God above all things? Consider the\n miracle which we are studying this week. Jesus, and the crowd\n following Him, met a funeral procession coming out of the town of\n Nain. The young man who had died was the only son of a widow.\n And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and\n said to her, ``Do not weep.'' Then he came up and\n touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he\n said, ``Young man, I say to you, arise.'' And the dead\n man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to\n his mother.\n\n\n Why did Jesus restore this young man's life? Out of\n compassion and concern for his mother. Death was defeated as the\n young man sat up and began to speak.\n\n Jesus' compassion gave the widow a blessing that she could\n not imagine in her wildest imagination. Her son was restored to\n life without her prayer because Jesus showed her love.\n\n May our Lord grant us faith to trust in Him even in our\n darkest hours.
