Are\n grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from\n thistles?\n 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the\n diseased tree bears bad fruit.\n 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a\n diseased tree bear good fruit.\n 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut\n down and thrown into the fire.\n 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.\n (ESV)\n\n This week we have looked at Jesus' warning about false\n prophets in light of the Prayer of the Church:\n Grant to us, Lord, the Spirit to think and do always\n such things as are right, that we, who cannot do\n anything that is good without You, may be enabled by\n You to live according to Your will.\n\n\n Jesus said:\n Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's\n clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
