Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n I Have Compassion - Part 4\n Mark 8:5-7\n 07\/23\/2026\n\n\n 5 And he asked them, ``How many loaves do you\n have?'' They said, ``Seven.''\n 6 And he directed the crowd to sit down on the\n ground. And he took the seven loaves, and having\n given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his\n disciples to set before the people; and they set\n them before the crowd.\n 7 And they had a few small fish. And having blessed\n them, he said that these also should be set before\n them. (ESV)\n\n God works through means to provide in times of need. As\n Jesus told His disciples, ``I have compassion on the crowd,'' He\n showed His love for all people.\n And [Jesus] asked them, ``How many loaves do you\n have?'' They said, ``Seven.'' And he directed the\n crowd to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven\n loaves, and having given thanks, he broke them and gave\n them to his disciples to set before the people; and\n they set them before the crowd. And they had a few\n small fish. And having blessed them, he said that these\n also should be set before them.\n\n\n This is not the first time that the disciples saw Jesus feed\n a multitude with a few loaves of bread and several dried fish.\n Yet, this miracle was out of the ordinary, not that God provides\n food and shelter, but the He did so without the normal labor\n normally associated with baking bread. Jesus multiplied the\n loaves and fish, thus feeding the crowd.\n\n In providing for our needs, in ordering all things in heaven\n and earth, God gives us food when we are hungry, clothing when we\n are naked, and shelter when we are homeless. He does this\n through the hands of those who fear and love Him, who serve Him\n by serving their neighbors.
