Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Speck and the Log - Part 5\n Luke 6:41-42\n 07\/03\/2026\n\n\n 41 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's\n eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own\n eye?\n 42 How can you say to your brother, `Brother, let me\n take out the speck that is in your eye,' when you\n yourself do not see the log that is in your own\n eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your\n own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out\n the speck that is in your brother's eye. (ESV)\n\n This week we prayed:\n O Lord, grant that the course of this world may be so\n peaceably ordered by Your governance that Your Church\n may joyfully serve You in all godly quietness.\n\n\n As we discovered, the only way that the course of this world\n may be peaceful is through the grace and mercy of our heavenly\n Father. As you and I have been given His love, we promote peace\n by reflecting His love to others. Therefore, Jesus was able to\n tell His followers:\n Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye,\n but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? How\n can you say to your brother, `Brother, let me take out\n the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do\n not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite,\n first take the log out of your own eye, and then you\n will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your\n brother's eye.\n\n\n Join us each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran\n Church as we learn more of God's grace, love, and mercy. Receive\n His blessing of the forgiveness of your sins and the assurance of\n everlasting life in His mansions as you hear the good news of\n salvation by grace through faith for the sake of Christ. Depart\n in peace, reflecting His love to those around you.\n\n We also pray, on the eve of the celebration of the signing\n of the Declaration of Independence:\n Lord, keep this nation under Your care. Bless the\n leaders of our land that we may be a people at peace\n among ourselves and a blessing to the other nations of\n the earth. Grant that we may choose trustworthy\n leaders, contribute to wise decisions for the general\n welfare, ans serve You faithfully in our generation:\n Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
