Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Light of Truth - Part 5\n John 16:22\n 05\/01\/2026\n\n\n 22 So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you\n again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one\n will take your joy from you. (ESV)\n\n We believe, teach, and confess that God's Word is true, that\n it gives us all we need to know for our salvation from sin and\n death. All Scripture points us to Christ Jesus, who died and\n rose again so to win for us the forgiveness of our many sins.\n Therefore, the Church prays for all who hear the Word, that they\n come to know the truth, and that their thoughts, words, and deeds\n reflect the truth.\n Almighty God, You show those in error the light of Your\n truth so that they may return to the way of\n righteousness. Grant faithfulness to all who are\n admitted into the fellowship of Christ's Church that\n they may avoid whatever is contrary to their confession\n and follow all such things as are pleasing to You.\n\n\n Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, told His disciples:\n ``So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your\n hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.''\n\n Here we have the promise of His return and the promise of\n the eternal joys of living in His Father's mansions. Today we\n may have trouble, sickness, and distress. We know, however, that\n this is temporary. Heaven awaits that unknown hour when He will\n return in all His glory.\n\n As we wait for Christ Jesus to return, we are invited by God\n to receive, even today, the gift of forgiveness which brings us\n hope and comfort. Where do we find that gift?
