Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Growing Plants - Part 1\n Luke 8:4-8\n 02\/09\/2026\n\n\n 4 And when a great crowd was gathering and people\n from town after town came to him, he said in a\n parable:\n 5 ``A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he\n sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled\n underfoot, and the birds of the air devoured it.\n 6 And some fell on the rock, and as it grew up, it\n withered away, because it had no moisture.\n 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up\n with it and choked it.\n 8 And some fell into good soil and grew and yielded\n a hundredfold.'' As he said these things, he\n called out, ``He who has ears to hear, let him\n hear.'' (ESV)\n\n On Sunday we prayed:\n O God, the strength of all who put their trust in You,\n mercifully grant that by Your power we may be defended\n against all adversity; through Jesus Christ, Your Son,\n our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy\n Spirit, one God, now and forever.\n\n\n As we look at this week's prayer of the Church, the Collect,\n we do so in light of faith. Faith is knowledge of God's rich\n grace and mercy. With that knowledge comes agreement that the\n Word of God, which speaks of His undeserved love towards all\n sinners, is true.
