Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Year in Review - Part 2\n Psalm 14:3\n 12\/30\/2025\n\n\n 3 They have all turned aside; together they have\n become corrupt; there is none who does good, not\n even one. (ESV)\n\n We are counting down the top truths you have heard in the\n Moments of Meditation broadcast in 2025. First on the list, the\n Bible is the Word of God. We believe, teach, and confess that\n the Bible contains two great teachings, the Law and the Gospel.\n The Law shows us our sin, the Gospel shows us our Savior.\n\n None of us like the Law. None of us likes to hear what we\n have done wrong. When Adam took the forbidden fruit from Eve and\n ate, he realized that he had truly sinned. Paradise was lost,\n and his relationship with God was broken.\n\n When God walked in the Garden of Eden in the cool of the\n evening, Adam and Eve hid in shame. They wanted nothing to do\n with a just, righteous, and perfect God. The Law did its work,\n it accused them of sin.\n\n King David, who was the author of many of the Psalms, wrote:\n ``They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt;\n there is none who does good, not even one.'' We don't like to\n hear that truth. Especially, we don't like to hear that there is\n nothing we can do to make up for our sins, for our failings.\n\n We go to Church, not because we are holy, but because we are\n sinners. God invites us into His presence, not to punish us, but\n to redeem us through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus\n Christ. Rather than hiding from God, He desires to bring us back\n into His household.\n\n May our Lord grant that we believe the accusation of the Law\n so that we can believe the good news of Jesus Christ.
