Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n A New Beginning - Part 5\n Matthew 21:10-11\n 12\/05\/2025\n\n 10 And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was\n stirred up, saying, ``Who is this?''\n 11 And the crowds said, ``This is the prophet Jesus,\n from Nazareth of Galilee.'' (ESV)\n\n We are at the beginning of the new Church Year. As we\n prepare to celebrate the incarnation of Jesus, to commemorate His\n birth in Bethlehem as foretold by the prophets, we confess our\n faith. For the next year we will answer the question posed by\n the city of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.\n\n And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was\n stirred up, saying, ``Who is this?'' And the crowds\n said, ``This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of\n Galilee.''\n\n\n How does this story play out? This Jesus, who rode into\n Jerusalem to bear our sins and to be our Savior, remains with His\n Church through Word and Sacrament. He is with us also through\n the Holy Office of the ministry, where His called and ordained\n servants act in His place and on His behalf to serve His people.\n\n Christ Jesus came into Jerusalem in the flesh. Christ Jesus\n comes into the Church in grace. Christ Jesus is coming again in\n glory.\n\n This is a new beginning. In honor of the new year, in\n celebration of our Lord's grace in allowing you the opportunity\n to receive His gifts of mercy, please join us at Trinity Lutheran\n Church each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. to learn more of this Jesus.\n During Advent, we also gather at noon and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays\n in honor of this season.\n\n May our Lord grant you a blessed Advent as you prepare to\n celebrate Jesus Christ, true God and true man, born to redeem you\n from sin and death.
