Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Thanksgiving\n 1 Timothy 2:1-4\n 11\/27\/2025\n\n\n 1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications,\n prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made\n for all people,\n 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that\n we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and\n dignified in every way.\n 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of\n God our Savior,\n 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to\n the knowledge of the truth. (ESV)\n\n Saint Paul wrote to Timothy:\n First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers,\n intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all\n people, for kings and all who are in high positions,\n that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and\n dignified in every way. This is good, and it is\n pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires\n all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of\n the truth.\n\n\n On this day of Thanksgiving, we pray for our nation and give\n glory to God for all His blessings.\n Almighty God, You have given us this good land as our\n heritage. Grant that we remember Your generosity and\n constantly do Your will. Bless our land with honest\n industry, truthful education, and an honorable way of\n life. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion,\n from pride and arrogance, and from every evil course of\n action. Make us who came from many nations with many\n different languages a united people. Defend our\n liberties, and give those whom we have entrusted with\n the authority of government, the President and Congress\n of the United States, the Governor and Legislature of\n this state, all our judges and magistrates, the spirit\n of wisdom that there may be justice and peace in our\n land. When times are prosperous, let our hearts be\n thankful; and in troubled times do not let our trust in\n you fail.\n\n Almighty God, Your mercies are new every morning\n and You graciously provide for all our needs of body\n and soul. Grant us Your Holy Spirit that we may\n acknowledge Your goodness, give thanks for Your\n benefits and serve You in willing obedience all our\n days; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who\n lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God,\n now and forever.
