Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Things to Come - Part 1\n Luke 7:11-12\n 10\/06\/2025\n\n 11 Soon afterward he went to a town called Nain, and\n his disciples and a great crowd went with him.\n 12 As he drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a\n man who had died was being carried out, the only\n son of his mother, and she was a widow, and a\n considerable crowd from the town was with her.\n (ESV)\n\n Christians live in the tension of knowing we have eternal\n life for the sake of the suffering, death, and resurrection of\n Jesus, yet we are still dealing with the effects of sin each day.\n The victory over death and the grave has been won, but the\n celebration is in the future. ``Now but not yet'' is often the\n watch-word.\n\n This week we will be looking at the miracle when Jesus\n restored the life of the young man of Nain. We will look at the\n three types of death, and how Christ Jesus has overcome them all.\n\n Soon afterward [Jesus] went to a town called Nain, and\n his disciples and a great crowd went with him. As he\n drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who\n had died was being carried out, the only son of his\n mother, and she was a widow, and a considerable crowd\n from the town was with her.\n\n\n So begins the account of this miracle where Jesus and His\n followers confront those who mourn the death of this man.
