Broadcast<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Son of Man - Part 1\n Daniel 7:9-10\n 11\/18\/2024\n\n\n 9 As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient\n of days took his seat; his clothing was white as\n snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his\n throne was fiery flames; its wheels were burning\n fire.\n 10 A stream of fire issued and came out from before\n him; a thousand thousands served him, and ten\n thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the\n court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.\n (ESV)\n\n The focus of the last three weeks of the Church Year is the\n coming of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead.\n Although the Church has always confessed the Second Coming, many\n people now question this teaching. In so doing, the are\n fulfilling the words of Saint Peter, who wrote:\n Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in\n the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful\n desires. They will say, ``Where is the promise of his\n coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all\n things are continuing as they were from the beginning\n of creation.''[1]\n\n\n Yet, six hundred years before the birth of Jesus, the\n prophet Daniel wrote of his vision of the final judgment.\n As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of\n days took his seat; his clothing was white as snow, and\n the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was\n fiery flames; its wheels were burning fire. There will be an accounting of our faith, which is\n given evidence by our works.\n\n May our Lord give us the wisdom to hear and believe His\n Word, that we may have life with Him.
