Wisdom -- Part 5\n Proverbs 4:18-19\n 09\/06\/2024\n\n\n 18 But the path of the righteous is like the light of\n dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until\n full day.\n 19 The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they\n do not know over what they stumble. (ESV)\n\n One ancient service in the Church begins:\n Jesus Christ is the Light of the World, the light no\n darkness can overcome.\n\n Stay with us, Lord, for it is evening, and the day is\n almost over.\n\n Let Your Light scatter the darkness and illumine Your\n Church.\n\n Joyous light of glory: of the immortal Father;\n heavenly, holy, blessed Jesus Christ.\n\n\n We pray that the light of God's grace, love, and mercy shine\n in our hearts to chase away the gloom of this world. King\n Solomon used this same image:\n But the path of the righteous is like the light of\n dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full\n day. The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they\n do not know over what they stumble.\n\n\n ``The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,''[5]\n Solomon taught. Wisdom brings us the light of truth, that our\n heavenly Father sent His only begotten Son to take upon Himself\n our sins.
