(ESV)\n\n On Easter morning, Jesus' grave was empty. He who died on\n the cross, He who was wrongfully condemned to suffer, abandoned\n the grave. Jesus showed Himself to the women, to the disciples,\n to five hundred followers. His resurrection foreshadows our own\n resurrection when He returns to judge both the living and the\n dead. We have seen the salvation of our God.\n\n For when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in\n his midst, they will sanctify my name; they will\n sanctify the Holy One of Jacob and will stand in awe of\n the God of Israel. And those who go astray in spirit\n will come to understanding, and those who murmur will\n accept instruction.\n\n\n Those who have faith in Jesus Christ, who has revealed the\n love of our heavenly Father, will join their voices in praise and\n thanksgiving in response to His mercy. Many will come to know of\n the redemption from sin and death, the promise of heaven, and\n will turn to God and receive eternal life.\n\n The message you hear each Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church\n when we gather at 9:00 a.m. is the message of hope. You are\n saved from sin and eternal death because of God's love and grace\n alone, because of Jesus' suffering, death, and resurrection\n alone. There is no need to fear, for God, Himself, has given you\n life.\n\n May our Lord grant us faith, by the working of the Holy\n Spirit, to trust in Him.
